Six destination-inspired fragrances, created for Norwegian Cruise Line's "Near or Far" luncheon at The Public Dining Room, Balmoral.
Six destinations, bottled
For Norwegian Cruise Line's "Near or Far" luncheon in October 2025, the experience needed to feel like travel: discovery, distance and the pull of a place.
So instead of our standard menu, we created six fragrances, each tied to a destination on the NCL map:
Tasman Sea: Australia and New Zealand. Fresh air, soft violet and sandalwood.
Golden Ylang: Asia. Peach and ylang ylang in warm light.
Island Nectar: the South Pacific. White petals, creamy coconut and wood.
Riviera Kiss: Europe. Citrus and caramel at the end of a sunny day.
Winter Shelter: Alaska. Cinnamon, rum and amber against the cold.
Aloha Sunrise: Hawaii. Pineapple blossom, sea breeze and warm vanilla.
Guests moved through the collection like an itinerary, compared notes and shared travel stories, then picked the destination that felt most like theirs. Each fragrance was prepared as a farewell gift: a small reminder of where they had been, or where they want to go next.
